Occupational Health & Safety - Facilitator Manual

This Facilitator Manual is a part of the Workplace Wellness Program for Health Workers Capacity Building Manual Series. It includes technical content on occupational health & safety, facilitator instructions and exercises.

The Facilitator Manual equips and supports the Facilitator to perform their unique role of helping the participants confront the issues related to hazards and risks in the workplace and enhance the learning experience and provide a safe and welcoming environment in which participants feel comfortable addressing their personal stress-related issues. To that end, the manual will assist the facilitator to create a climate in which participants can accomplish workshop objectives and explore their life experiences to help them learn to identify, control and manage occupational hazards in their workplace. Facilitators need to inform, support and acknowledge issues within the social and cultural context of the workshop to ensure a successful experience for all participants.
